MILLI is a dynamic Thai rapper, singer, and songwriter who, in 2022, made history as the first solo Thai artist to perform at Coachella. She began her career as a contestant on Thai talent survival show, The Rapper 2, and rose to prominence with her bold image, rapid, sometimes controversial bars, and outspoken opinions, which, in 2021, saw her hit with defamation charges after critiquing the Thai Prime Minister (she would end up paying a fine).

Her 2020 breakout single "Phak Khon" went viral, and she went on to collaborate with artists such as Jackson Wang, Stray Kids’ Changbin and F.HERO, with her 2022 debut album, BABB BUM BUM, earning multiple awards, including Best Album of the Year at Thailand’s TOTY Awards. In 2024, she joined the DREAMGIRLS project, a pop-hip hop trio, alongside Flower.far and GALCHANIE, and who wowed crowds at Rolling Loud Thailand. Mulaika Nordin

Mulaika Nordin is a Malaysian abstract expressionist who centres her work around life and death, mental health and the human experience. Aged 15, she was the youngest ever artist to exhibit in her home country’s National Art Gallery.

Alongside her practice as an artist, Nordin is in the final year of her law degree at Queen's University, Belfast, with plans to focus on environmental law in the future. Through her studies she has continued to develop a new body of work, which is set to be showcased in her third solo exhibition in 2025 in Kuala Lumpur.

While inspired by artists like De Kooning, Rothko, and Pollock, Nordin’s upcoming pieces go beyond traditional painting, incorporating new mediums such as X-rays, found objects, optical scans, and ceramics.

Khazsak Kramer

Khazsak Kramer is a Vietnamese influencer turned actor and filmmaker who recently received critical acclaim for her portrayal of the wife of a Korean fisherman gone missing in The Land of the Morning Calm, the sophomore feature by director Park Ri-woong.

She also starred in the comedy romance B4S: Truoc Gio Yeu, and Love Without Borders, which won Best Drama at the New York Shorts International Film Festival, making her still-evolving transition from phone screen to big screen a remarkably impressive one.

Kramer, however, remains a social presence, detailing her daily life in unpretentious photo dumps, gleeful in oversized shorts and skirts, sans makeup and goofing off for the camera. Yuto Horigome made history as the first-ever Olympic gold medalist in skateboarding, winning at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. Prior to this Yuto dominated skateboarding competitions, winning three consecutive SLS titles, the 2019 X Games in Minneapolis, then the 2021 Street World Championship in Italy. He also became the first Japanese skater to win the iconic Tampa Pro contest in 2023 and made history by winning it again in 2024; only the third skater to win the event in back-to-back years.

At just 25, Horigome has revolutionised the skateboarding scene in Japan: in 2024 he cemented his legacy as one of the sport's greatest by securing his second consecutive Olympic gold at the Paris Summer Olympics, thus inspiring a new generation of skaters worldwide.

GALCHANIE

GALCHANIE is a 21-year-old Thai R&B-pop artist who made her debut under YUPP! with the release of twin singles "Hide" and "Yok-Yai". Where the former song charted her experience with a toxic relationship, the latter was the flipsider, on which GALCHANIE encourages listeners to live freely and without fear.

This is emblematic of her ability to balance multitudes; she often mixes subtle humour with the emotional – “Wait till you fall asleep, Then I'm gonna take everything that I need, ดึกดื่นจังหวะนี้อยากให้เธอมา feed, Lemme suck your soul”, she sings sweetly on “SUCCUBUS”.

She also pushes herself creatively through working with a range of collaborators like Percy and Hannah 4EVE, as well as being one-third of girl group project DREAMGIRLS. With a strong, soulful voice and a determination to chase her dreams, GALCHANIE is ready to deepen her mark in music, offering raw and relatable stories through her art.

Jolianne Salvado

Jolianne Salvado is a rising R&B-pop singer on the Philippine music scene who first gained attention with her performance of Ariana Grande’s “Tattooed Heart” on The Voice Kids in 2015. Then aged just 11, she impressed audiences with her strong vocal ability and stage presence.

Although she wouldn’t release her debut studio single, “Irises”, until 2019, she’s become beloved for her soothing voice and heartfelt delivery, releasing a number of singles since that have shown her maturation as a singer and a young woman in tandem.

In 2024, she continued to build on her success, releasing the acoustic guitar-lead “I’ll Be Somebody You Want” during the Love Cebu Music Festival, and, in a change of emotional pace, the determinedly optimistic “Dili Na Lang”, on which she envisions a relationship making it to the very end, despite its problems.

Kotao Tomozawa

Kotao Tomozawa, born in Bordeaux, France, is a contemporary artist who moved to Japan in 2004, had a brief stint as a Chika idol, and recently completed her graduate studies at Tokyo’s University of the Arts. Using portraiture and sculpture to explore the complexities of human existence, Tomozawa is probably best known for her hyper-real paintings of slime-covered baby dolls and human faces.

Inspired by the visceral work of Francis Bacon, her art juxtaposes brutality with softness, and explores ephemerality. “Slime possesses no practical functionality, clinging to the moment of “here and now”, and evaporating,” she wrote in reflection of her work last year. In 2019, Kotao was awarded the prestigious Kume Keiichiro Award and the Ueno Geiyu Prize in 2021, and her work with slime and organic matter continued with 2024’s Fragment, a solo exhibition in Tokyo that saw her create her largest piece to date.

Anusha Alamgir

Anusha Alamgir is a multi-disciplinary artist from Bangladesh, who holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Royal College of Art in London and is recognised for her thought-provoking work that addresses contemporary social issues.

Named in Forbes’ Asia 30 Under 30 list in 2024, Alamgir’s artistic practice spans sculpture, painting, photography, and performance, with a focus on amplifying and empowering women’s voices, and raising awareness of female artists in Bangladesh. In 2023, she showcased her film, Porda (meaning ‘veil’) in the 18th International Architecture Exhibition at the 2023 Venice Biennale.

On top of this, she has turned her hand to fashion design in collaboration with the Bangladeshi brand AGIAA, and, as of 2024, has exhibited in Dhaka, Los Angeles, Düsseldorf, and London. Her work continues to draw from her own personal experiences, and spark commentary about the shifting faces of current culture in both local and international contexts.

Prim Patnasiri

Prim Patnasiri is a Thai actress, director, visual artist and model whose work resounds with intimacy, vulnerability, and empathy, often reflecting her personal experiences.

After studying Fine Arts Photography in London and discovering new emotional and creative facets of herself, she returned home as the COVID-19 pandemic started, and began working on a film and art installation. This experience led to Patnasiri’s return to acting (2022’s Fast and Feel Love and 2023’s Analogue Squad) as well as directing her own multi-award-winning debut short film, In Purple Dalha (2023), which captured themes of love and friendship during the pandemic, and would earn her multiple awards.

Patnasiri, who is an advocate for education and healthcare for at-risk children, sees her future in art house films, both in front and behind the camera like the true multi-hyphenate creative she is.

Mae Tan is a Singaporean-based creative powerhouse who has collaborated with renowned brands such as Louis Vuitton, Off-White™, Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Loewe and Net-a-Porter, Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, Fenty Beauty and Armani Beauty.

Her career began in reality TV, when she appeared in travel series Miss Korea in her teens and continued with a role on Netflix’s Singapore Social, bringing her, as an already busy influencer, to a wider audience. Phum Viphurit is a Thai singer-songwriter based in Bangkok. Raised in New Zealand from the age of nine until moving back to Thailand to attend college, Phum’s debut single “Adore” was released in 2014 but he wouldn’t put out his successful debut LP, Manchild, until 2017. Incorporating indie folk, pop, funk, and house, Viphurit has collaborated with artists like PREP, Sunset Rollercoaster, Summer Salt, Benny Songs, SoYoon, and the US label 88rising.

Now a decade into his career, Viphurit is shifting lanes, evident in his latest project, *Paul Vibhavadi Vol. 1*, where he introduces trance and house influences, telling a whimsical story of a sloth escaping the city for peace in the mythical Himmapan Forest. Phum’s journey reflects his constant evolution as an artist: always seeking, and achieving, new creative directions.

Phuwin Tangsakyuen

Phuwin Tangsakyuen is a Thai actor who began acting aged 11, in the television drama, Sunshine My Friend. He quickly went on to gain wider recognition for his starring roles in the BL series ‘Cause You’re My Boy (2019) and 2021’s Fish Upon the Sky. A self-confessed workaholic, Tangsakyuen has tended to take on multiple acting roles each year, his latest leading turns being in We Are and Summer Night.

Not merely content with TV roles, he acted in the hugely popular game Overwatch 2, voicing the franchise’s first Southeast Asian character, Lifeweaver. Having begun as a covers artist on Vine, lovlaine ventured into writing her own material aged 13, and built an early fandom via TikTok. Ten years on from those humble beginnings, lovlaine released her self-titled debut EP in November 2024, with seven tracks that underline that she is an emotionally raw artist with a knack for creating gently nostalgic vibes. Following the success of her 2022 debut album Bloom, which included “Keep Cold” – the song she made for her college thesis which became her viral debut single – Numcha released her emotional hewantscoffeebutiamtea EP, a beacon for those emerging from emotional turbulence. The title is also her Instagram handle, “hewantscoffeebutiamtea,” which originated after a crush didn’t work out. She created the playful phrase as a way of saying, “He might want coffee, but I’m all about the tea”—a fitting tribute to her name, which means “tea” in Thai.

Evan Tan is a comedy skit creator from the Philippines, who began his award-winning content creation journey in 2019 while studying mechanical engineering at university. Despite the demands of academic life, Evan’s deadpan humour, which pokes fun at his single-dom, love of K-pop and K-drama, and cute geek-next-door persona, has earned him 12 million followers on TikTok, 1.9 million on Instagram, and 1.59 million on YouTube.

Having graduated with distinction in 2022, Tan ventured into music and took a supporting role in the film The Cheating Game, and although now a licensed engineer, Tan continues to create as well as collaborate with both music artists and brands, from Crocs to Contiki.

Kai is a Hong Kong-born illustrator studying in Los Angeles and known for capturing the essence of food culture through vibrant, detailed artwork that melds the vintage and the modern. Kai has collaborated with the Vivienne Westwood cafe in Hong Kong, Sunmerry Bakery and Midori Matcha, as well as fashion label WOOMII, after rising to prominence on social media with her Everyday Toast project, which began in late 2022.

She’s exhibited solo at The Motel in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, created her own comic book, and keeps her creativity flowing through a number of side projects, including doodle pop-ups and collaborations with other artists like LITTLE THUNDER. Kai’s work transcends borders – using food as a universal language that unites people, her art opening eyes to the beauty and complexity of the small things we too often take for granted.

Moon Tang

Moon Tang is a Thai-Chinese, Hong Kong-born singer-songwriter who grew up in an art-appreciative household. She described herself to Tatler Asia as “colourful, spontaneous, and weird”, and her cathartic bedroom pop blends a myriad of influences, from R&B and indie to Cantopop and jazz.

Moon's biggest hits, sung in English and Cantonese, include "趁你旅行時搬走 (getaway)," "lately," "i hate u," and "honest". Following the success of her 2023 album Water Comes Out of My Eyes, a partly conceptual record based on the freeing experience of crying, Tang took the leap into the roles of writer, producer, director and animator for her 2024 single “favourite jeans”.

Inspired by FKA Twigs, she’s also taken up dancing to further round out her self-expression, and is becoming a fixture on Hong Kong’s fashion scene, attending shows and events by Chanel, Chopard, and Tory Burch. With a slate of excellent collaborations – including the recent, and dreamily beautiful, “grwm” with Marf 邱彥筒 – and a desire to pivot to writing observationally over introspectively, Tang is constantly exploring new creative facets.

ATEEZ

ATEEZ are a boy group consisting of eight members who are based in South Korea. They have rapidly gained international recognition since their debut in 2018 and are known for their high-energy performances – live sets include spectacular pyrotechnic displays and trippy visuals.

In 2023, they earned their first US number one album with The World EP.Fin: Will and, in 2024, made history as the first K-pop boy group to perform at Coachella. The group credit the month they spent together in L.A. before that Coachella set as formative in further deepening their already close dynamic. Quite the presence in L.A., they were also the subject of a pop-up exhibit at the Grammy Museum. Beyond the stage, ATEEZ have been making waves in fashion, with prominent appearances at fashion weeks too.

Sriya (Shreya Lenka) is the youngest member of the multinational K-pop girl group BLACKSWAN and India’s first K-pop idol. Her inclusion in the group has proved inspiring, particularly in her home country, by breaking cultural boundaries and offering a new representation of Indian talent in the Korean music industry.

With her vibrant presence and unique cultural perspective, Sriya’s heritage has influenced BLACKSWAN’s discography, most notably on their 2023 single “Karma”. Tobyato

Tobyato is a multidisciplinary artist based in Singapore. A one-time freelance student graphic designer turned full time artist, Tobyato’s bold, swirling artworks featuring traditional Asian motifs have been commissioned by the likes of ASICS, Samsung, Levi’s and HUGO.

Tobyato’s works range from custom Wallabee shoes for Clarks Singapore and dragon sculptures for Nike (known as ‘sneaker creatures’) to huge murals, including a community football pitch in collaboration with LaLiga. He’s also worked with Red Bull Racing to create a live-painted mirror artwork during the Singapore GP, and Tesla Singapore to create live artwork on the only Cybertruck in the country.

Such is his impact on street culture and art that Tobyato’s art toys sell out in hours, making him one the most sought after artists in the country.

AMEE is a musician from Hanoi, Vietnam. Aoi Yamada

Aoi Yamada is a Japanese dancer, model, and actress who began dancing at the age of six, and moved to Tokyo aged 15 to pursue her dreams in the arts. Based in South Korea, Gyuhan Lee is an innovative artist known for his upcycling projects, particularly for crafting furniture including lamps and chairs. In his first solo exhibition in 2019, On My Seat, Lee used Nike shoe boxes to create chairs that were both visually impactful and sturdy enough for use. Through this project, he played with concepts of mass production, accumulation, and the ways in which we interact with everyday objects.

This year saw the artist's first solo exhibiton in Hong Kong, Pop Craft Structure. To create the pieces in this show, Lee merged recycled paper bags with traditional Korean paper; disposable material fashioned into crafted objects. His pieces have drawn praise for their creativity and practicality and already the artist has been selected to collaborate with global brands including Gucci. Through these partnerships, Lee blends fashion with art; creating functional design objects that challenge traditional notions of both disciplines.
