Paloma Elsesser just announced that she’s had a big closet clearout in the early days of 2025 and is set to sell off a bunch of old clothes, accessories, and other bits and pieces in Brooklyn this weekend. In a post shared on Instagram, the New York-based supermodel revealed she’ll be heading for cult store Kalimera on January 18 with a bunch of bags filled with designer goods in a diverse range of sizes. Joining her in schlepping her unwanted goods to the space is Ariella Starkman, of Homme Girls. Since the fires sparked last week, Elsesser has been using her social media platforms to share information and GoFundMe details of those affected. Right now, there’s no details of what you can expect from the sale, but since Elsesser is a regular walking the runway for the likes of Eckhaus Latta, Mugler, and Willy Chavarria, it wouldn’t be on beyond the realms of possibility to find bits and pieces from a few of them hung on the rails. Beyond the catwalk, she’s known for pairing high-end stuff with thrifted finds, so probably expect a few secondhand finds mixed in there, too. Head to her Instagram for more updates on the sale, here for more details on how you can help people in Los Angeles, and here to read a powerful opinion piece on the role of climate change and corporate greed in the apocalyptic scenes we’re currently seeing play out in Los Angeles.
